Are There Fake "Support Kerry" Phone Scams Going On? |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-11-05 07:12 PM by ThomWV
In the last week I have been called twice (in each case they knew my name) by some babbling idiots who, in as much as I can understand them, seem to be trying to indicate they are supporting John Kerry. They are so annoying I have hung up on them both times. It occurs to me that no political organization, not even one of our Democratic ones, could be that fucking inept. Have any of you all been contacted by droolers in the name of a Democrat? I think its a scam by the Republicans (I'm in the north half of West Virginia by the way).

I'd be a little suspicious of those calls too. Seems way to early for them to be made!

We're more than a year away from a mid-term election.
John Kerry, regardless of what one might think of him, is no longer the standard-bearer for the party. And unless I've missed something (which undoubtedly I have) he's not exactly front and center in what's been happening the past two weeks.
Were they asking you for money?
