THAT'S what bush and his handlers are really, truly, deeply concerned about, they don't give a good goddamn about New Orleans or it's poor people.

how many fucking photo ops will it take to make things better?

1. You've got it ...
...they can dress the chimp up, surround him with props ... all in hopes of giving the impression that he cares ... but, the Man's eyes betray him, they are devoid of compassion or empathy; they occasionally flash annoyance at having been inconvenienced.

2. Yep...You can take a 1974 Yugo, give it a 2000 dollar paint job...
...and it's still a piece of shit.

(for those of you too young to remember, Consumer Reports said "This is the worse Automobile we have ever tested")

5. Coke-Head Roberts on NPR was On Message....
"Only 26% of Whites said that Race made a difference..."

"His defining moment came when he grabbed that bullhorn..."

"The Democrats are trying to blame the Bush Administration..."

That woman makes me wanna HURL.

6. Mopaul -- I don't think they can rebuild bush's image
Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 07:39 AM by DELUSIONAL
I have never heard so much ANGER directed at one person in my life as I did yesterday.

People I've known for a long time and they are working class people, good people but NON political -- and they are ALL ANGRY. Not pissed or aggravated but red hot ANGRY at bush and at FEMA.

To must people bush=Federal Government. And they believe that the Federal Government failed the people of New Orleans.

He blew it when I refused to stop his vacation -- he will never be able to get away from this. As the images on TV -- brought to us by the media whores who had built up bushit -- were now showing dead and dying -- who had been LEFT behind. Babies were dying -- and I do believe that the image of dehydrated babies was the tipping point for a whole lot of people. It didn't matter that the babies were black, white or brown -- they were BABIES.

Also everyone I've interviewed has heard of the Walmart truck being turned back by FEMA. (I never mentioned Walmart -- everyone I talked to brought up the Walmart truck loaded with water that was stopped from delivering it by FEMA.)

The images of New Orleans -- dying babies and bushie on vacation have killed his carefully crafted message by the news media to the people.

Bushie is NUDE -- NAKED -- for the politically illiterate to see. AND they are red hot ANGRY. Also people are Angry that bushie wants to investigate himself.

The bushie gang will be doing their best to turn the blame to the Mayor of New Orleans and the Governor of LA -- and things are going to get very nasty.

The majority opinion (not polled) is the fact that if a disaster hits their area -- the Feds cannot be counted on.

Also -- not a single person mentioned terrorist attacks -- no one. So people are smarter than the government, bush and congress -- they know that we are far more likely to be hit by a Natural disaster than any terrorist attack.
