Does anybody know if some of Los Angeles has lost power?
Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 03:14 PM by DeepModem Mom
I hear from the Valley that there seems to be some kind of brown-out, but they don't know what area is affected. They're a little spooked because of the "terrorist tape."

to it, it would be Dick Cheney's brand.

34. LA people are used to it
It just turns everything into a stop sign (that only one out of every two drivers obeys).

This used to happen a lot when I was a kid...back when dinosaurs roamed La Brea.

It's probably a coincidence vis-a-vis Doogie al Qaeda.

Everything seems fine in the Antelope Valley (except for being a Republican cesspool).

36. Leslie Blitzer is having a cow over the power outage. So much
for a cool, calm, sane voice of reason during trying times. I know this is serious, needs to be fixed but Leslie is losing it and just freaking. Good thing he wasn't on the air during the Kennedy assassination - he would have fainted dead away with the first news burst. Jeez, stay calm freakoid and just report the news.

Where is a Walter Cronkite, a Chet Huntley, or a David Brinkley when you need him?
