"Maybe you know something I don't know. I've been working,"
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/katrina_brown

The president ducked questions about Brown's resignation. "Maybe you know something I don't know. I've been working," the president said to reporters on an inspection tour of damage in Gulfport, Miss. Bush said he planned to talk with Brown's boss, Homeland Security Director Michael Chertoff, from Air Force One on the flight back to Washington.

7. "I've been working...
for a change" Sad that he has to point out that from time to time he "works" - of course it appears to be more self-promotion and PR rather than "work" - but whose to bicker ;-)

12. George is Just A Tad Out of Touch
I wonder which staffer lost the "rock, paper, scizzors" contest to give him the bad news about Brownie going out to pasture. Most people don't like to think that they elected an imbecile to the highest position in the land because that might call into question their own particular smarts. I think that explains how we've been arguing the "George is stupid" thing for so long without any great effect. I think it would be more effective to keep hammering at how disconnected Idiot Boy is and totally out of touch with reality.

No empathy, detached, lazy, self-absorbed, deluded and incompetent. Forget stupid. These adjectives don't go away with the images of Idiot Boy driving a pick-up truck. We need to push that he ain't one of us, but a stinky cheese-eating, perrier drinkin' fraud.

17. Well, it could be that I read into
it more than others. Could always be seeing something different. Or maybe I'm just easily impressed.

I thought it was brilliant, though.

That is the epitome of an idiotic response from a sitting President.
