I'm in L.A. too, and I've got to say that DU's most vivid imaginations tend to be at their best when it comes to unanticipated events of medium-to-large scale - even when they are simply nothing more than accidents of happenstance.

Personally, I'm also not a big fan of the official Pentagon line about 9/11; I also believe that the Federal response to the aftermath of Katrina was nothing short of breathtaking in its outright classism. However, informed skepticism and vigilance do not a paranoiac make.
