On a lighter note - mind candy for another bad day |

Martha Stewart's new show debuted today and I am watching it. I am not a Martha fan, but I empathize with her since her railroading at the hands of the mad dogs in bushco.
Its a new and somehow more humbled Martha.
She's interacting (quite comforably) with ordinary people.
I think I could like the new Martha.
I guess the prison stint had an effect on her.

Country Club stint might be more apt.

3. Would YOU like to go to that country club? |

I'll say it again. If she'd been male and/or repukelican she'd never have been charged, much less imprisoned.

5. I'm a bit confused (not a flame) |

Are you saying that you think she should have gone to a higher-security prison? Or do you object to the existence of different levels of prisons for different risk-level offenders?
Personally, as much as I laugh about 'Club Fed', I think that prisoners should be placed in the least onerous conditions appropriate and given as many opportunities to improve their lives as possible. I would no more want Martha at San Quintin than I would want Manson at Danbury...
