Don't put "fake" news as titles to post. I am home, listening to KFI radio, and if there's horrible news, I'll let you know. As of now, things are inconvenient but not insane.

The report on KFI:

A big power blackout from SF Valley to South Bay, Westside. People will be calling in.

DWP says a power cable was inadvertently cut.

90% of DWP customers have had their power restored.

KFI Terry Rae Elmer 2:35.

1. Power still out in Burbank
Phone lines fine. Joanie from Burbank "doesn't know what to do with herself" without power.

4. Los Angeles is just fine. I am in LA. However, I think we need
to be skeptical of an Administration that benefits from creating chaos and taking a bat to hornets' nests.

I am not as worried of any "terrorism" coming from outside this country, however I am concerned this Administration has lost all credibility in their consistent crying wolf and blaming others for what is both their responsibility and often their creation.

With this many people in a power outage, so much could have happened and didn't. Most Angelinos are pretty cool.

12. Fall for what? It was a power outage.
Callers to KFI seem pretty cheerful.

And this is a Clear Channel repug station. They are very calm. No "terror" talk. John and Ken think the guy who cut the cable should be fired and go run a horse association like Michael Brown.

Lights just went on in KFI studios in Koreatown.

16. How do you know it was just a power outage Nikki? The truth is
none of us know. Of course they would want to make things look fine.

The question is who and how did this most significant cable just get severed in the middle of the afternoon and they cant even legitimately tell us what has happened.

19. What would the repugs have to gain by CALM and NO LOOTING?
If they would want to suggest that this was related to yesterday's silly video, they would PLAY UP civil disorder. It would be easy enough to do--this is LA. We have a rep for riots and civil disturbances.

The fact that KFI is being calm and humorous--even to the choice of bumper music--means that this is not being exploited.

Now could it be? I don't put it past O'Lielly or Sean "Mullarky" Hannity to play this up with a terrorism angle. But, by and large, the coverage on KFI is very reasonable.

who knows? Who knows?

My only point is how do you know what the answer is.

My point is none of us have ENOUGH accurate information to make an educated conclusion, including yourself.

if you want to create a fear of terrorism?
