where's my prize? Brown resigns saying he doesn't want to be a distraction
A couple of days ago I posted that they way this would go down is that Brown would resign stating that he didn't want to be a "distraction". (I can't access the search feature so I can't link to my original post).

Well, here's what Brown said today:

"As I told the president, it is important that I leave now to avoid further distraction from the ongoing mission of FEMA."

These guys are so fuckin' predictable...

1. but, you didn't add that he was planning to return
to the private sector this Fall anyway. That is pretty typical - Well, I'll leave a little earlier than I planned, but I was already going to take my ball and go home...

6. OK, I was wrong...
I really thought Brown was going to be sidelined and put on a shelf to be forgotten without actually removing him.. I may be right about my other prediction, though, Bush* will never ever utter the name 'Brown' again. Brown is now Persona non grata in this misadminstaration.
