Did you see that article in the paper about the body count being
much higher than what they were reporting on television. Where was that link? Hang on, I'll go get it.

1. Mike Malloy just said if they've lied about the body count in Iraq then
they've probably lied about it here too. :(

3. of course there's no evidence that they've lied about the Iraq body count
as has been discussed ad nauseum here on DU. Of course some folks are going to believe what they're going to believe.

4. He (and I) meant the Iraqi citizen/soldier body count.
The Lancet (British medical journal) has the best estimates of the Iraqi citizen body count.

2. I find it interesting there is no central Missing List.
During 9/11 they had a missing list that kept shrinking as bodies and loved ones were found. Why are we not doing this for Hurricane Katrina?

5. Indeed, how curious, it does seem like the most effective way
to keep track of our losses while also "RESPECTING" the dead. Seems like there would be a central list. Makes sense really.

6. That is too logical ...
But each media outlet that has one wants to be the "hero" and say they joined up the people searching for loved ones.

MSNBC, CBS, Red Cross, who else has one??

7. The effort to get that list up and running got confused
A Red Cross local group in Texas got it going. There was just a lot of confusion over the project. Chalk that one up to bad planning instead of malice.

10. Really, you mean someone actually thought to compile a list?
And there's going to be a link? That's good, it HONORS the FALLEN SOLDIERS who died in this lie of a WAR!
