The Far Right is beginning to make me feel uncomfortable
Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 06:08 PM by ck4829
I'm afraid of the RW'ers, they need to be stopped. I'm afraid of what they'll do if their Agenda continues to go unchallenged. I'm afraid of what they have planned for the people they constantly rail against.

There has to be some way to stop them.

Edited to say:

I was afraid of them to a degree as soon as I became aware of the threat of the Far Right, but now I am starting to lose the confidence that they can be stopped at all.

3. I thought they would be easy to stop
I'm only now beginning to get the sense of impending doom when I think about what they have planned for everybody who is not with them.

10. I think we are in more trouble than we could
ever fathom. I also think that it is too late to stop them.

6. "Beginning?"
In case you missed it, they have already implemented two of the top three priorities of this administration: Neocon war in Iraq and driving the money and power to the top 1% of the population. The third primary goal - destroying the social safety net - has not yet been achieved, but they are relentless. If anyone thinks Bush is going to give up on destroying Social Security - a keystone of that safety net - they had better look again at this administration. That was the top three I identified soon after the 2000 "election." I see no reason to change them.

11. If their motives become to generally known, they may move into hyperdrive.
Is that what you mean? It's possible. But then there is that physics thing about reactions. I forget exactly how that goes, but it could do a smackdown.

Anybody know about that?

12. Hemmorrhoids are uncomfortable.
The wrong size bra is uncomfortable.
Wearing pants that are too tight at Thanksgiving are uncomfortable.

What you are talking about doesn't begin to equate with uncomfortable.

I'd equate it to the feeling of being eviscerated by a Utahraptor.
Now that is something to wrap your head around.

16. I'd almost welcome it at this point.
It's been building and festering for 25 years. I think the current status quo is creating more long term damage. I'd be happy to see an event that'll force all sides to choose up and decide if we want to move forward or regress back to an age that never really existed.

17. I still think things go in a wavy. Right now it is Far Right but
it will move back. Some where along the line people get sick of it going one way plus when one party is in power for long is is full of crooks. All this business run stuff will stop I think,.Lets face it this group in DC have put our children in debt for their whole life. They may think the rich should be tax to pay it back since their greed did a good deal of it.. One never is sure what change is in the works.

18. They can come and get me!
those fuckers! To use their jargon, "Bring it on!" You can take me down, but you can't take us all down because we have the power of the human spirit and we're right!

Suck on that, Bitches!

The racism? The threat to women's rights? The stealing of our private property? The loss of your basic voting rights? What exactly is it?

20. They taste blood! They see 'Dominionism' just around the corner.
They see Roe v. Wade being overturned. They see prayers in schools. They're foaming at the mouth like a bunch of rabid dogs and if they are to be stopped...WE NEED THE HELP OF CONGRESS. The RWers are in control of everything. Executive branch, The House, The Senate and The Judiciary. They ARE NOT going to stop now. They can taste blood. They're oh, so close to what they have been after for the last 35-40 years. :scared:
