My favorite comment was from the Republican who said the American people elected George twice, so we must want to rubber stamp his Supreme Court nominations.

3. Just step back and enjoy the absurdity
I also like the part where conservatives complain about the activist court. I'm thinking, you mean all those conservative activist judges from Reagan, Bush 1 & Bush 2? Or how about the part where a republican mentioned that the republican Senate had screwed over all of Clinton's nominations? He changed the subject really fast.

Seriously though, I think at least some of the Republicans are ready to fly the coop. It's one way to separate themselves from George.

4. I think the GOP has been duped
into thinking that Roberts is more than a Bush loyalist crony with strings attached. In any event it is too easy to force the Dems into a partisan corner just to WEAKLY do their job and lose.

They want to eventually force them to despair and wilt away when in any
real country an opposition party would be walking out and rallying their people in the streets. We are so far from the response that this fraudulent tyranny is forcing us into that there is no hope is sight at all. And no "poll numbers" are not enough.

6. Senator Schumer
said basically the same thing.

PATRICK is correct. The Dems are worthless. They should all be on their hind legs. Maybe it will come, but everything so far says that they will put their tails between their legs and beg for no more anthrax.

John Roberts - The Stepford Fascist.
