Why doesn't Bush wear short sleeve shirts?
He looks like no one told him where he was going. He wears dress shirts, gets all sweaty but he still won't wear clothes that work for the occasion.

I asked my kids why someone would dress inappropriately so consistently and they said he's hiding a tattoo. He would have had a tatt removed by now if that's it, but he may be hiding something.

6. He wears long sleeved shirts and rolls up the sleeves to make him look
like he's really getting down to work....It's a phony ploy....IMO
Like everything else he says or does...it's calculated for effect...

10. Bingo
Short-sleeved dress shirts also show the wearer as something of a nerd, in my opinion. He's letting everyone know he's "working hard".

I'm sure that the White House employs a stylist as well as an image consultant, because God knows * could never come up with an idea on his own. They're sure not paying a stylist to dress Pickles.

But they are always rolled to below his elbow.
Surly he would have a better place to put a needle than his arm.

Just like his little chicken legs.

Won't match his cough*manly*cough cough*athletic*cough image.

The sweat is usually fake, IMO.

24. That's an unusual outfit for him
and it's a strange short sleeve shirt in that the cut of the sleeves is so long.

25. He doesn't wear short sleeves very often...
but I don't recall most presidents wearing them all that much anyway.

I do agree the cut is long, but he may just prefer it.

Meant to convey that he's on the ground, co-ordinating the efforts.

15. He wears short sleeve shirts in Crawford, so that can't be the reason.
I think he's just clueless. Wear clothing appropriate for the event and be done with it! He clearly has never helped clean up after a hurricane. He doesn't know what is appropriate dress. Have pity on him. He's not a quick learner.

here the other day. He was wearing long sleeves and his wife had a jacket on while they were visiting New Orleans.

Proves how completely clueless these people are.
