5. I lie awake at times worried about who will protect Americans from;
the effects of Peak Oil, climate change, natural disasters and the risks of worldwide epidemics, to name but a few.

Then I drift off to blissful slumber knowing that Iraqi WMDs are no longer a threat to the world and with "just" billions more yet to be spent, Americans might be protected from a ballistic missile strike. :sarcasm:
