2004 Letter From Louisiana Politicians Complaining About Federal Cuts

It is infuriating how the RW is already in full spin mode trying to cover B**h is a** by trying to blame local officials. There was once a time that I thought I had an honest disagreement with folks on the RW regarding how to address society's problems. But now, there is nothing honest about it.

I saw the attached link on MSNBC. Sadly, I am almost surprised that MSNBC has the guts to publish this letter. I just wonder how long before big media regresses to reading from Karl Rove's talking points of the day.

2. The letter just said "screw you" when it came to natural

disasters. The priorities were the WOT and economic recovery. I hope some of the RW'rs read this stuff.

3. It is amazing the ability of the RW to ignore the truth . . .

The Republicans control the three branches of argument. They have controlled the presidency for 17 of the last 25 years. Yet, they continue to bitch about how liberals are the cause of America's problems. Heck, if the Republican party cannot get things done despite controlling all three freaking branches of government, that alone shows that they are incompetent.

The letter just goes to show how Bushco left NOLA to sink or swim.
