Katrina-9/11- and remember how nobody told him the capitol
was being evacuated while he was out riding his bike in a Maryland park? The Secret Service knew but nobody told him jack until half an hour later... Bush blew it off by saying that other people were taking care of it.

Every time there's an instance that would require a leader to be very visible and hands-on, he's been AWOL.

Well, if other people ALWAYS take care of stuff for him, then why do we need HIM as President? Sheesh. He seems to understand enough the PR aspects of being with the public, he's out on his Social Security stump speech often enough... why can't he get it that a real leader steps up the plate to show urgent concern in times of crisis? As that Newsweek article seemed to say, is everyone scared of him?
