Ray first disclaimer, I live in SoCal

Second disclaimer I am quite white

Now to the meat... I could tell the racism and classism developing in this disaster. No you are not alone... I saw it, and I am ashamed of my country..

OTOH I have been trying to get involved and get the help these folks need, not because they are black and I feel sorry (as Huffington was accused today), but because they are my fellow American who need help, just the same way I would like to be helped if we have a massive quake and I am displaced.

So this is the first step, my people need to admit there is a problem and the media (not you) needs to recognize it... we need a second civil rights movement...
