Why is DU so slow? When I try to bring up....

the "Latest" threads, it takes forever to load. If I click on a specific forum, it's a bit faster. ANyone else having similar experiences?

It sucks when you have to draw ads from someone elses server that you have no control over.

7. I think the mods should load the graphic...

..so that it doesn't have to pull from another server. It can still link to where it needs to go, but surely there is a way to use the ad without slowing the site down so much. THis is untenable.
