Has anyone heard of anything that Operation Blessing was doing
in the gulf region?

Do we need to media blast this? I haven't heard of them delivering water, clothes, or anything that warrants the amount of money they got for being on the FEMA web-site.

What has Operation Blessing been doing with the donated funds from the FEMA website in the Gulf Retion?

2. Not doubting for a minute that Pat is stealing from the poor....
but how in world is he getting away with it????

It almost as it there were two sets of laws. One for the rich, one for the poor.

I go into the store, steal a loaf of bread, I am in big trouble.

Apparently, Pat takes money intended to help the disadvantaged and uses it for his own personal gain. Is this illegal? Why is he not not getting jail time?

5. I forgot who said it but his comment on the law went
something like this:

"Ah the August majesty of the law, the punishments for stealing bread or sleeping under bridges apply to all rich and poor alike"

I think he was french given the comment about sleeping under bridges a favorite spot for the paris homeless.

9. Robertson has already stuffed at least half the money into his pockets
Freedom Gold and a bank in the Cayman Islands is all he ever needed to launder money to Ollie and his friends.

11. Roberston meet Ollie back in the early days
when Ollie started going to Robertson's church in Lynchburg.

It is alleged that Robertson used Operation Blessing planes to help run drugs and guns for the Iran Contras.

13. the good news is
they seem to be doing SOMETHING......

the bad news is, they seem to only be offering aid to churches who offer aid to people...... though I admit I did not read thoroughly. (I've already had my bath for the day and didn't want to have to take another from being on their site too long.....)

To their website.. and their claims, make of them what you will..

http://www.ob.org/projects/hurricane_relief/index.asp

a few of the highlights..

OBI's Hunger Strike Force has delivered 50 truckloads of food, beverages and relief supplies totaling 2,042,449 pounds.

Today volunteers at OBI's 53-foot mobile kitchen served 4,200 meals to survivors, US Army infantrymen and Marines in Slidell, LA.

Operation Blessing awarded four more cash grants to partnering organizations in Gulfport, MS as well as Zachary, Gonzales and Robert, LA. Funds will be used to purchase school supplies for evacuee children, food vouchers, medicine, debris removal, baby items and hot meals.

15. Look at their tax returns
The are a non-profit so the returns are public record.

Half of their money goes directly to the Christian Broadcast Network and from there it is unaccounted for.
