Whammo! Specter shows Roberts chart of 38 Roe v. Wade affirmations
and asks him, given that the court has had 38 opportunities to overturn Roe v. Wade, and therefor did that not make Roe v. Wade a "Super-duper precedent."

Of course, Roberts can't give a really straight answer. Then specter asked him whether he considered "settled law" settled by precedent, or settled in his own mind. It was good. Roberts weaseled, and is trying not to address this point. It is very telling on where he stands. He views precedent as binding only when he agrees with it, apparently. And we KNOW he doesn't agree with a woman's right to self-determination.

1. Roberts can weasel his answers all he wants. With him and the next
appointment, Roe v. Wade is gone, gone, gone!

2. Yeah from here on in abortion is gonna be what drinking was
during prohibition. The most enormous underground network is gonna have to be constructed to insure that women have some control over their reproduction.

3. That underground network existed in the past, and will
exist again.

Founders of Jane and similar groups are still living. Too bad we will need them again.

7. But there will be another choice. O'Conner is staying until a new
choice is made.

6. Sorry, I have to keep saying this:
Specter has stated on the record recently that Roberts will make an excellent chief justice. He said WILL, not WOULD.

Everything Specter is doing right now is a charade.
