Springer is talking about poverty on his show now |
|
Good for him.
But he maybe the wrong messenger.
But his stupid ass television show is very exploitative of poor people and their problems. Granted, Republican policies do more damage to the poor in this country than Springer's TV show. Still, Springer's television show does nothing but caricature the poor and mock their plight, all while offering no solutions.

1. And leaves well to do people with the attitude that |
|
all poor people behave that way.
Lot's of stereotyping the past few weeks in regards to poor people. It's horribly tragic & just morally wrong to think that those who are poor suffer from character flaws & those that are rich do not. Holy shit, there are people with good & bad character in all economic sectors -- why is that so fucking hard to get? I'm not sure I wouldn't wager some of the worst are rich & got there by any means they possibly could.
Hmmmmm, who comes to mind? The BFEE.

2. Springer's TV show also supports that acting trashy is 'cool'. |
|
Much like the country video celebrating red neck women. I don't get why people are so happy about celebrating how trashy they can be.
You can be poor like my family was(farmers) and still conduct yourself with class. I don't know it just seems that acting ignorant is now 'in'.
