1. I think she's more likely to run for Senate from CA...
The GOP could see her as one of the few people who could provide some competition for Boxer or Feinstein

6. At least then the southern white racist vote is up for grabs
though Democrats may have to do a little race-baiting of their own to win it.

Cover my ass disclaimer:

No, I am not saying all white southerners are racist.

11. she is being used!
They float her name out there so the Republicans can say, "look, we're not racists, one of our top candidates is black - and a woman, so we're not sexist, either!!!" If they can get 1-2% more of the African American vote that way, then it is a successful strategy.

No other reason.

She has no chance to win the nomination.

18. Forget about it
Condi is utterly unappealing as a candidate. I can't think of a single positive trait she possesses that would make her even "seem" like a credible leader. Not even the new army of Rove clones could spin that woman into something palatable. She's a boot licker and she's got no class.

Yeah, let me tell you how I really feel about it. It's still a relatively free country isn't it? :-)

24. She said she wouldn't run, so she definitely will.
Rice has been asked about presidential ambitions, and she always denies having them. Like all bushites, she is a pathological liar, so not only is she running, she probably has a formidable organization already.
