1. He's still angling to kill the federal assistance from the gov't and set
up privatizing disaster management.

URGENT yet easy! Hold the government accountable for Katrina's aftermath

8. In a desperate move to bring up his polls....
Nothing left to lose except to spin the story about how courageous and brave he is to accept responsibility for this. What a man! What a human being!

9. RW speech template
I would like the thank President Bush for taking responsibility ...taking responsibility is something we Republicans do....the President showed great leadership in taking responsibility even for those who shouldered some of the blame themselves but sought only to blame others.....

10. Saying you take responsibility and *taking* responsibility are
two entirely different things.

If he truly accepts responsibility, he needs to resign from office.

11. Yesterday in NO, he blamed everything on the state & local govt's.
:grr: He said that at his stupid press conference where he lied about Brown's resignation and told the journalists not to ask him any more questions about Brown because he wasn't going to answer them.

12. polling came back, wasn't working
so they tried for the old "pull the band aid off in one motion" and take the pain technique. He will be roundly praised for his everyman-ness and honesty.

I will be SHOCKED if Wolf doesn't already have his talking points.

Oh, poor baby, he was on vacation and didn't know what was happening.

Like someone couldn't pick up the phone and tell him since he doesn't watch TV or read the paper, only goat books.
