Bush taking responsibility is akin to the criminal caught on tape |
|
It's one thing to take responsibility for a crime when there is not much evidence available that would prove one actually did anything. It's another to take "responsibility" after all other defenses have been destroyed and it's been proven that you were responsible for what occurred.
It's the difference between a bank robber coming forward to confess to a crime no one suspected him of committing and the supervisor who is caught on tape, pissing in the coffee pot.

This isn't the end. You said you're responsible so when are you going to resign? Tonight maybe?

2. Exactly. He is sorry he got "caught", and not sorry he did it. |
