W's taking responsibility is like Hitler apologizing to the Jews |

All of America should be angry over this. I saw the pictures of the dead people of the Gulf Coast. I'm angry as hell. And I'm not going to be bought off with some damned charade.

1. Well, that's a bit hyperbolic. You might get repeated on Rush, though. |

responsibility. He should spell it out. Not some general, oops, There are so many holes in this, that's it's almost meaningless.

6. What do you mean "almost" ? |
|
It is meaningless... Remember when Reagan took "full responsibility" for the death of more than 200 Marines in Lebanon. It is lip service. Taking responsibility would mean stepping down and admit that he is not fit to be President. This is an old trick...I am surprised that Rove did not push for it sooner...Maybe because Smirky throws fits when he has to admit to any fault at all.

If people don't get hyperbolic over that, then we're doomed as a nation.

5. Yip, "Responsibility" without Consequences |
|
The Shrub-HATCH paradigm is, "That's in the past, we can't dwell on the past, we have to look to the future." It's over, move along, nothing to see here.

I can't get the pictures of the dead and dying out of my head. Old people in wheelchairs and people floatng in the fetid water. Can't we be horrified at the news that the bodies of the dead were even breaking up as they drifted?
I want consequences. I want W out of the WH. We deserve no less as a nation. I don't want to be preached at about how forgiving we are as a nation. It doesn't wipe away the fact of the dead.
