Right now, with what we have - Impeachment will not happen |
|
Believe me, I want him impeached just as much as the rest of you but with repukes running the house & senate it just isn't happening. Sure it was repukes who finally turned on Nixon, but back then it was a kinder, gentler republican party that you could actually admire from time to time. Many of them were the fiscal conservatives who weren't controled by the Religious nut jobs and they were willing to go after a faulted president.
But the repukes we have are a rapid breed of religious xtians who would rather chew off their own leg than to start impeachment charges against Bush.
It's not happening and even if we could win back either the house or senate (or both) in 2006 it probably still won't happen. Maybe we could have the hearing but Bush will probably serve out until Jan 2009 when he'll pardon all those associated with his regime from the crimes they have committed (ie Kenny Boy will be a free man).

1. We don't need impeachment when they attack our Government |
|
I heard they wanted to "drown it in a bathtub." Thanks Grover.

2. Here's the question . . . |
|
Can Bush pardon himself? Surely he's going to need something to keep his ass out of jail -- or out of the Hague, as the case may be -- once the shield of the presidency falls from his fingers.
