Remember....George Bush = SOCIOPATH. Clinical criteria included.... |
|
From the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (AKA. Shrink Bible):
A. There is a pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others occurring since age 15 years, as indicated by three (or more) of the following:
1.) failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds for arrest.
2.) deceitfulness, as indicated by repeated lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure.
3.) impulsivity or failure to plan ahead.
4.) irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults.
5.) reckless disregard for safety of self or others.
6.) consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations.
7.) lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another.
B. The individual is at least age 18 years.
C. There is evidence of Conduct Disorder with onset before age 15 years.
D. The occurrence of antisocial behavior is not exclusively during the course of Schizophrenia or a Manic Episode.
--------------------------------------------------
Assuming age criteria were met (only Barb & Poppy would know for sure), from what I can see Shrub clearly meets enumerated criteria A3, A5, A6, and A7. His drug and alcohol abuse history may satisfy A1, but I'm not certain.
In summary, OUR COUNTRY IS BEING LED BY A SOCIOPATH. His current apology for Katrina is only calculated to benefit himself politically and is NOT borne of any real emotion or remorse. I'm firmly convinced that Shrub is biologically incapable of remorse secondary to his mental disorder.

3. It's just part of the sociopath con game. |
|
Rove knows the public has already pronounced judgement. So, politically the only real option is to admit the obvious. That's what they've done.
I'm sure the sheeple will applaud Bush for his "acceptance" of responsibility. The big con still works.

4. Exactly. This so-called apology is nothing but damage control. |

5. Absolutely. There is no way a meglomanic sociopath had a life- |
|
changing epiphany now. This is damage control, plain and simple. This is an attempt to head off a full investigation into the failures surrounding Katrina. There is far more than negligence on the table. Far more.

7. I'd argue that his "born again" conversion was politically motivated. |
|
I've never believed that Shrub was "born again" from the heart. I think he found that christofascists were the most likely to vote for him and take any bullshit he could dish out. What better voting block to have than those who are reticent to think for themselves and believe shit in general lock-step.

10. could there be any doubt in any thinking person's mind: this man is |
|
not a Christian. Even many fundies, born-agains, middle-of-the-road Christians are having a a VERY difficult time, to say the least, rationalizing *'s actions and supposed beliefs. Christians don't abandon people to die. Who would Jesus evacuate?
No, the difference is that now bushco* can't control the shots of corpses rotting in the streets. Mr. and Mrs. America can't just brush this under the sand. This is mainstreet New Orleans USA.
