Sorry Bush, but your apology is too little, too late
So, after weeks of pointing the finger at everyone else and saying, "What didn't go right?" and "There will be plenty of time to play the blame game later," you finally come out and take responsibility right after the polls show you sinking like a stone?

Just damage control you son of a bitch, and I'm not buying it. This time your lies didn't work, and for once, the media didn't cover your butt as it has done for over four years. It's about time they stood up to you.

1. Your empty words mean nothing to dead people.
And they mean nothing to us, the living ones, who know the truth about you. This is just a way to see if your poll numbers go up if you try to "act" humble. F*uck off.

2. Instead of Flood Control Bush Gives Spin Control
Amazing! He's going to issue an address to the nation from New Orleans, obviously trying to mine the tragey there like he did New York on the first year anniversary of 9-11. Bush is coming apart at the seams. First he fires (almost promptly) one of his incompetent cronies now he takes responsibility for something that he did wrong. Ben Stein's got to be choking on his own lying tongue about now.
The fact that all this came only days before the fourth anniversary of 9-11 has made Bush meek as a fieldmouse. Even his weekend address to the nation didn't boast about how great a job he was doing of safeguarding the nation. Nobody was going to swallow his bullshit line about how we're all safer now than we were 4 years ago thanks to him. A wonderful example of juxtaposition: the Bush PR-machine's spun version of an in-control Bush compared to the reality of an incompetent, clueless, out-of-control Bush. It's been four long years in coming but it's nice to have this moment.
