What Bush would need to understand in order to take real responsibility |
|
for the failures of his administration over Katrina:
A) That his incuriosity about people or matters other than himself led him to not to give a shit about the people affected by Katrina in the first place, which delayed his administration's putting any plan for Katrina into action.
B) That his ineptitude as an executive led him to staff FEMA with cronies who were also inept and incompetent at their positions.
C) That his rigid ideology against government as a service provider placed an obstacle in his path toward demanding effective service on behalf of the victims of Katrina.
Do you think Bush understands any of this? :eyes:
