Look at what the CHIMP actually said! |
|
President Bush: Katrina exposed serious problems in our response capability at all levels of government. And to the extent that the federal government didn't fully do its job right, I take responsibility. I want to know what went right and what went wrong. I want to know how to better cooperate with state and local government, to be able to answer that very question that you asked: Are we capable of dealing with a severe attack or another severe storm. And that's a very important question. And it's in our national interest that we find out exactly what went on and -- so that we can better respond. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the CHIMPS out eventually....The IDIOT says.."and to the EXTENT that the federal gov't didn't do its job right" EXTENT being the word...this is TYPICAL Rovian crap....they will have their hearing and the EXTENT will be limited or non-existant....Don't believe a word of it..ANOTHER Bush crime family smoke screen...I KNEW he really didn't take responsibility...but now that I see the EXACT words which he READ from the Rove script...I see I was right..NO APOLOGY more crap!

The only sound bite that sticks is "Bush takes responsibility". No one is reading the fine print.

11. the real talking point is that he did that in 2000... |
|
he TOOK (stole) responsibility, for running the US.
And he has failed, miserably on all fronts. ACCOUNTABILITY-- that is the sticky part- he ain't about to accept the repercussions of that.

letter writing, phone campaign to Congress, and the WH itself--"taking responsibility" is not enough with so many dead needlessly. I call this sheer negligence! It's time for heads to start rolling--no more slaps on the wrist!! Do It Now!!!

also email ALL the press and expose the reality....show them HOW to read what the CHIMP actually said..this was NOT an apology..A REAL apology comes with no boundaries....from what he said he STILL hasn't admited that the Gov't FAILED miserably...define EXTENT should have been the first question from the BushBot media!

4. He damns himself with this quote: |
|
Are we capable of dealing with a severe attack or another severe storm.
After 9/11 how dare he even ask that question!
After telling us in the campaign of 2004 that he would protect us and Kerry wouldn't HOW DARE HE EVEN ASK THAT QUESTION!
This is an admission that he has either FAILED TO PROTECT THE COUNTRY or, that HE LIED ABOUT HIS ABILITY TO PROTECT THE COUNTRY
Point this out in every ltte you can......

8. ". . . I want to know how to better cooperate with state |
|
and local government . . ."
Absolutely unbelievable.
He's been in office for over four years and he STILL doesn't know what the relationship between state/local governments to the Federal Government is? x(
I learned THAT in my first college Poli-Sci class!
