If Bush was serious about ACCOUNTABILITY he would have said this: |

"Katrina exposed serious problems in our response capability at all levels of government and in my ability to do my job right. I take full responsibility for this failure. As a result, I will ask that Congress impeach the following members of the administration: Myself, V.P. Cheney, Secretary of State Rice, Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld, Secretary of Homeland Security Chertoff, and other the heads and undersecretaries of the DHS and FEMA, to be announced in the following days. No one is getting a pardon and I will not resign, but face an Impeachment Trial in the Senate."
Instead, he spouted some lame limited liability legalese that means nothing.
