I' starting to believe that many Dem Senators
aren't standing up because their voting histories might expose them as accomplices of many of the decisions that have resulted in all the nightmares we US is experiencing...

Otherwise, why aren't most of them openly denouncing the catastrophic actions of B admin???

1. They're afraid...because of their own hypocrisy

I'm beginning to think the Democrats are so muddled because they're taking millions of dollars from the same corporate lobbyists who give to Republicans as well. They do it to shut up Democratic politicians and give them a conflict of interest so they cannot or will not speak up.

I could look at, for instance, Joe Biden, that fucking traitor, and see how he is totally owned by the credit card industry. He voted for that atrocious bankruptcy bill, which is just an attempt at screwing over ordinary Americans.

2. I agree..
With most Dems in the Publite camp, the USA is essentially a one party state. Ugghhh.

3. Yes, it is a myth that they work for the citizens - not all. Of we take
a look at the Democratic leaders that the Republicans love the most, there will probably be a correlation to the payola they receive.

4. You're not the only one
who feels betrayed. Republicans like these don't get to where they are without enablers. On the - lets try to give the Dems every benefit of the doubt side though - Republicans are known for their strong-arm tactics. They bully people into taking their position and say that you must be a communist, atheist, traitor (take your pick) if you don't. I still believe some Dems really think they can make a difference though. I'm not sure they can with the current batch of so called "leaders" being as corrupt as they are, but I'm more than willing to give those like Howard Dean, Dennis Kucinich, Barbara Boxer, etc a chance. I personally support Dems who stand strong for what is right regardless of spin. But yes, I too wonder how an administration so blatantly criminal can get away with hurting so many people with little opposition. I mean, I know the Dems still have to worry about getting re-elected, but sometimes you gotta figure enough is enough and it's time to make a stand.
