Spector to Biden about Roberts: |
|
"Misleading or not, they are still his answers!"
OMFG!!!! The logical fallacies of these people knows no fucking borders!!! Jesus H. Christ. . .what is wrong with these neo-con cocksuckers?
My mentally challenged cousin in NM could out debate and out think these idiots, and he has the brain power of a 7 year old at 19.

9. I don't think so, Gloria. Maybe they would have considered it before |

Katrina, but, the RW ideology is really too dangerous to not factor in every aspect of what confirming Roberts means. I expect most of the Democrats to vote against Roberts.

 I pray you're correct. I HOPE Katrina woke them up. I get the feeling they are planning on letting Roberts through and plan to filibuster O'Connor's replacement. :( Man, I hope I'm wrong. :( I want them BOTH filibustered if they're both radical religious RWers.

8. come on, specter's right. they are answers, just not honest ones. |
|
prepped, over-prepped and totally insincere and made with the goal of NOT letting the truth out.
but honestly, did we expect this guy to tell us the truth? I mean, really take an honest long, jaundiced look at him.
He was groomed in the age of Reagan - and his opinions were even MORE conservative than that administration's. He did solicitor work afterwards, where you are only hired if your proclivities are precisely what the boss wants, needs and understands. He argued cases before the USSC always ALWAYS arguing to limit those things that conservatives hated, and to overrule liberal legislation. He is precisely what Bush and his merry band of neoconmen wanted. He will be to the rule of law what Bolton is to diplomacy. Mark my words. In that respect, I agree with posters in other threads, it is a waste of time to have these hearings. they will not change one thing. He will be confirmed. He will be our USSC Chief Justice and barring a brain spasm or aneurysm he will lead this court for 30 years. Into the dust. destroying privacy rights, safe abortions, quality education oppportunities, and much, much more.
And remember, next time that the neoconmen pass something like the Patriot Act, he will do precisely what he said he would. interpret, rather than legislate. He will support all aspects of that hideous act to all of our detriment.
Depressed? you bet I am.
