It's the Great Tweety Fellate-athon (of Shrub, Natch)
Edited on Tue Sep-13-05 06:12 PM by UTUSN
He opened with a clip of Shrub taking "responsibility," - "To the extent that the federal government didn't do its job, I take responsibility."

He's called it, "The pResident's AMAZING decision to take responsibility."

He said, "He did what is RARE in this day and age, for somebody to take accountability for what went wrong."

I'm about to barf.

2. Empty words.
What the hell is the big deal? Does he even have the slightest comprehension what that means? When you take responsibility, it's supposed to COST YOU SOMETHING!!!! Your job, usually. For idiotson, it's just some words you say, and suddenly it's all better.

MY HEAD IS EXPLODING!!!! AAAAAAAAARRRRGHHHH!!!!

3. I'm becoming more convinced daily that
CNN's Anderson Cooper is telling it like it is, so I've been blotting out Tweety.
Surprisingly or not, Mayor Nagin was supposed to be interviewed tonight but cancelled.

5. LOL! Me too...turned of Tweety, switched to Anderson
I didn't like him at first, but he definitely has picked up the ball and is running like hell with it. He's been tough as nails. He said that tonight he planned a very tough interview with Ray Nagin, but that Nagin backed out at the last minute.

Maybe he saw Anderson's show last night! Coop was on fire.

4. My first thread on this got deleted!
I was so pissed, my "flowery" writing apparently set off the mods. My first-ever deleted post! Anyway, I agree...since the afternoon Hardball broadcast, Tweety has been drooling all over himself to show what a humble, brave, accountable leader Bush is. It is so transparent...I thought I was accidentally watching Fox New there for a moment!

17. Now He's Playing Commander-in-Chief, Being Briefed by Troops
The way, when the ENRON story broke hard, he decided that the Middle East needed his personal attention for the next three months and even flew over ARAFAT's headquarters, wearing aviator sunglasses like Geraldo, in a helicopter. But with Tweety, it was clear that he was scared shitless.

Like his hero Shrub, Tweety took his time getting to NOLA.
