Is Idiot Son responsible for the nursing home deaths? |
|
If the owners are charged and Idiot Son has admitted responsibility, does that mean he's going to be charged?

1. I speculated about this with my husband tonight; |
|
the people wouldn't have died if someone had a damn plan in place to help the people in the path of this storm. :grr: Ergo, it's not the fault of the nursing home, but HOMELAND SECURITY!

2. He is at least responsible for every death that happened because of the |
|
lack of relief or rescue. If it can be determined, and it can, that any death was a direct result of the lack of response on the Federal Government or FEMA, then George W. Bu$h should be charged with negligent homicide.

4. Since the nursing home people are indicted, then this should also apply |

to Nagin, for not getting all out of NO, to Blanco, for not getting all the help she asked for, to FEMA, for impeding rescue and for not acting in a timely or efficient manner, to Cheney, for ordering that the pipeline be made operable over the needs of hospitals, to Bush, for staying on vacation and fiddling while Rome burned.

Charles Manson wasn't even at the homes of Sharon Tate and LaBianca when the murders occurred, however, he was as culpable as the "family" members who were there. Same situation. Different players.

I'm no fan of the Emperor, but I recall from the story re: the nursing home deaths that offers were made to the owners before the storm to evacuate all the residents, and they refused. If this allegation is correct, it pretty much negates any legal responsibility for anyone other than the owners themselves.

7. My dad was in a nursing home for the last 4 years of his life |
|
I have no ability to think clearly about this. All I know is that I wouldn't want my dad to die that way, and those patients were the responsibility of the staff. They live in an area that gets hit by hurricanes. There should have been a plan to move them out. If we say they couldn't have known that the levees would have broken (as in another thread on the subject), but that Bush SHOULD have known the levees would have broken, then that doesn't make sense. They too should have known that a cat. 5 hurricane meant the levees probably were going to break. There should have been a plan. Buses with water and such in them. A place to go. Something.
That said, I don't think they deserve to be charged with negligent homicide. But they better damn well learn from this experience, and have a damned plan in place to get those people out of there. And they damned well should have stayed there WITH those poor people.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go cry my eyes out now.
