I knew there was a clinical explanation for Bush's mea culpa...
http://groups.msn.com/NARCISSISTICPERSONALITYDISORDER/20traitsofmalignantnarcissism.msnw

Straight out of the pages that describe "Malignant Narcissistic Personality Disorder" arises a description of the tactics used when their victims begin to catch on to their games.

I couldn't believe it when I read this. It's exactly what Junior is doing right now. The Narcissist "swaggers" and "seeks envy" when he's getting away with his torment. However, when he is exposed, he kicks it into "pity me" mode. This is not genuine. It is designed to manipulate everyone--and get them back in line--so the Narcissist can, once again, get back to his abuse pattern.

Here's what Junior is playing now, "The Penitent Narcissist"...

20. THE PENITENT NARCISSIST says "I've behaved horribly, I'll change, I love you, I'll go for therapy." Appears to 'come clean' admitting past abuse and asking forgiveness. Claims we are at fault and need to change too. The sincerity of his words and actions appear convincing. We learn his words are verbal hooks. He knows our vulnerabilities and what buttons to push. We question our judgment about his disorder. We can disregard "Fool me once..." We hope for change and minimize past abuse. With a successful re-targeting attempt, this N will enjoy his second reign of terror even more if we allow him back in our lives. Defense Strategy: Expect this. Self-impose a "No Contact" rule. Focus on the reality of his disorder. Remember past abuse. Join a support group. Enjoy life free of the Narcissist!!

Read more about Narcissistic personality disorder--and you'll recognize Junior's tactics, behavior and personality throughout.

3. Bush on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President by Justin A. Frank
Pretty much the same as "Bush on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President" by Justin A. Frank.

When two shrinks agree on any diagnosis - I am convinced that patient is a nut case.

Bush is  but he is not :silly: he is just plain "bipolar evil" that is :evilfrown: and

4. Fine--but how do we do THIS???
Defense Strategy: Expect this. Self-impose a "No Contact" rule. Focus on the reality of his disorder. Remember past abuse. Join a support group. Enjoy life free of the Narcissist!!
