They Found the Missing Dolphins |
|
I guess the news is just breaking. They have found 8 of them off the coast in Miss. and the Oceanographic people are rushing to rescue them. But everybody is worried about their condition. They have never been out in the wild.
I'm holding my breath. So many animals have been affected by all of this. Even some good news is important.

1. Probably nobody cares but me. But I was really worried. |
|
They washed out to sea in the hurricane and the people have been out in boats whistling - trying to find them. They are all tame.
I guess there are five more still out there.

I read this this morning and really hope someone can help them. Apparently they are huddled together in a VERY polluted area and have never been in the wild and do not know how to survive alone.

11. Just read the story for the first time. |
|
I had no idea. But the five remaining appear to be sea lions. It seems that all eight dolphins have stayed together. Yay!

4. Same aquarium, they didn't move them all |
|
I think just the performing ones. They had lost 30 animals in the storm.

I am still damaged to the heart after spending 3 hours trying to keep their sea lion wet in the middle of the street on a hot scorching day after the storm and then they came in and ordered it put down and shot in the street.
I know it was the day after the hurricane and everything was chaotic but still it was a harsh end to a creature who had survived the storm and to me the experience was more traumatic than the storm itself.

the dolphins that they moved to a pool prior to the storm? If so, I heard days ago that they had been rescued.

6. You assume too much if you assume people know the back story |
|
Please, folks, fill in the back story when issuing updates or post internal links or external links. I am thrilled by this news, but I'd like to know the background.
