What if Jesus -> Early FSM? |
|
Follow me on this...
What if Jesus was an early FSM, himself? I mean, he was presented as a ridiculous argument to counteract a similarly ridiculous argument from Old Testament fundamentalists or Roman pagans or anyone silly?
"Our god, Jesus Christ, believes that pi is exactly 3! We have a long history of scripture and tradition dating back long before you can possibly tell! Jesus is a swarthy man in sandals who can walk on water, then immediately turn said water into alcohol! He hangs out with fisherman and hookers and his father is both God and NO ONE! HE says that we should teach pi as exactly 3, and so-called "irrational number pi theorists" should give equal consideration to scripture!"
I'm not hating on Christians, and I don't SERIOUSLY think this is the case... but won't we be kicking ourselves if in 2000 the Roman Pasta Church is molesting children in the name of Pope Parmesean while American Spagettians are in a heated debate over thermodynamics?

2. Yeah, but think of the price those early FSM items will get on eBay! |
|
. . . . . . Oops. Looks like I'm channeling the FSM pharisees of the future.

4. I have absolutely NO idea what the hell you're prattling on about... |
|
Take a deep breath, go to detox, learn how to frame an argument - or hell, even an idea - then, when you're ready to try it again, forget the whole thing.

I'm only (attemptingly humorously) trying to show how otherwise ridiculous religious concepts can stand the test of time. What if the FSM not only catches on, but becomes a "legitimate" religion centuries from now?

"go to detox"
"learn how to frame an argument"
What WAS that assplosion? Do people come at you that way a lot? It's not nice, don't pass it on.

16. So gratuitous cheap-shot child molestation jokes set me off - sue me. |
|
Especially when preceded by "I'm not hating on Christians, but..."
...and ESPECIALLY when that is preceded by incoherent drivel.

18. I'd be satisfied if he could frame a joke, or a parody, or even a wicked |

jab.
Instead it seems more like an attempt at inside jokes is all inside, no jokes.

But, yeah, she can be spicy.
BTW, I have heard through the grapevine that Mari Nara has been spotted with someone named Olive. I believe she's into oil somehow.

17. low carbs are immoral |
|
so sayeth the noodly appendage.
If you know anyone who has chosen that lifestyle, they can with prayer and specialized conditioning be re-oriented to a high carb life of purity and pastaness.
If you find a low carb to layeth down with a low cal as though with a high carb, you shall get stoned and eat them all.
