Why Do People Feel Safer With GWB; What Leadership? |
|
He has just said, after his insincere accepting responsiblity for the Feds action on the hurricane, he is unsure about being ready for another attack.
Is it just me or what. I have never seen what I considered as great leadership from Bush on 9/11. The MSM always makes a big deal about the "bullhorn" event. Hell, instead of the bullhorn, you need to look at what came out of 9/11.
What kind of defenses did we throw up to prevent the next one?
Are we now better prepared for the next terrorist attack should there be one?
Did we go in the right direction by going to Iraq after 9/11?
If so what is the connection?
Could we have been better prepared by spending the money we have and are spending in our own country for defense, such as more police officers, better wages for police officers, border control, better technology for our power grids, ship yards, borders, security in general?
Out of these questions I ask myself, I do not see a great leader in our commander in chief.

1. Bush was never a 'great leader'. The bullhorn was the highlight... |

2. I don't think they do after Katrina! They believed all the BS they |
|
were hearing about we'll keep American safe, and we're fighting them there so we don't have to fight them here, but since the attacks in London a few weeks ago, and now the poor reaction to Katrina, I think lots of people now realize all that talk was just BS!

3. Because for 4 years straight the media kept TELLING them they were. |
|
With Katrina they could finally see for themselves that it wasn't true.

6. Every meme about * as "leader" or "a guy you would like |
|
to have a beer with" etc. is just BS put out by the RW media propaganda.
Someone who's seen as such an idiot cannot also exude strong leadership. The only thing I see is a spoiled brat who can't stand to be wrong, and NO MATTER WHAT will not change course.
It's all spin. Even these so called bad poll numbers hovering @ 40% are BS. He's gotta be below 25% approval IMHO.

7. It's hard to believe anyone does feel safer... |
|
...even if they did, or tried to convince themselves they did, it's hard to see how anyone could feel safer under the Shrub's "leadership" now. Not even the freepers! Sure, most of them will lie and SAY they do, but it's hard to believe they really feel safer.

8. He gives them fear..then he takes it away. Remember he tried very |
|
hard not to assuage the fears of AMericans after 9/11. He harnessed instead. You know ... fear in the fear bank.
