I don't believe that for one minute. Not one.

The only good news is the other bad news...40% overall approval. 36% foreign policy. The guy is toast. Time for a terra attack or free iPods for all Americans.

3. Don't know linky...just being reported as NEW on MSNBC
Tweety hasn't even tried to suck Bush off yet. He's actually saying that this is terrible for Bush.

9. sympathy
i think this whole "i'm responsible" spin is a ploy for sympathy from his supporters who are having second thoughts, hence the bad poll numbers.

15. Bush will break down and cry tomorrow night
And beg forgiveness from the lord, a la Jerry Falwell.

Then I'll just laugh at him even harder.

2. If that's the best he can get on any issue...
That's catastrophic in a two-party electatorship.

12. That's the poll...and it's 36%
The 48/48 figure is only about Katrina.

36% handling of foreign policy.

40% overall.

4. Wallstreet Journal poll gave him 40% approval rating
This was on NBC tonight.

Figuratively speaking, bush got his ass kicked on this poll tonight.

The biggie: 75% of Americans do not believe we are prepared for a terrorist attack.

bush can scream 'terra terra' all he wants. Nobody'll believe him.

6. It's hard to get much lower than that in a crisis in this country.
He would have had to start eating the corpses to drive it below 40.

8. The NBC/WSJ poll was
38/58 on Katrina. And 40% overall. A full 75% said they didn't believe we would have been prepared if it had been a terrorist attack.
