Americans Believe Iraq Conflict Was Wrong

(Angus Reid Global Scan) – Many adults in the United States believe their federal administration made a mistake in launching the coalition effort, according to a poll by Princeton Survey Research Associates published in Newsweek. 49 per cent of respondents believe the U.S. was wrong in taking military action against Iraq two years ago.

The coalition effort against Saddam Hussein’s regime was launched in March 2003. At least 1,895 American soldiers have died during the military operation, and more than 14,300 troops have been injured.
