For shame, Mr Bush. For shame. RESIGN NOW ! ! !
The Edger Hollingsworth Story

NEW ORLEANS - . . . A human foot arching at an odd angle was visible through the front window of a locked and dark home.

The National Guard team of searchers was about to call in a "DB," or dead body . . . in the Broadmoor district when Lt. Frederick Fell decided to investigate.

In the past few days, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has ordered searchers not to break into homes. They are supposed to look in through a window and knock on the door. If no one cries out for help, they are supposed to move on. If they see a body, they are supposed to log the address and move on.

< snip >

Fell broke the rules and ordered his men to bash open the door, launching a series of events that would save a man's life and revitalize California Task Force 5 from Orange County.

< snip >

. . . 16 days after Hurricane Katrina smacked this aging community in the face, an unconscious and emaciated man identified as Edgar Hollingsworth, 74, was rescued. The man is expected to survive.

3. Mr. Hollingsworth is one of the lucky ones
The cover up is and will be massive. The policy of don't ask, don't tell for this WH is for death. I can't believe what is happening to us.

2. Thanks for all the visuals George, you've traumatized a whole nation.
Many wondered what "the children" would think about 911, and the result was truly appaling. Kids of all ages learned that the world was even less secure than they thought.

Instead of the stark horror of 911, we have the rolling, non stop parade of tragedy, suffering and death. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. The impact on those who viewed this is also profound. It's called vicarious trauma...and in the case of NOLA, it's a very powerful event. The world is not only unsave, it's cruel, heartless, and inept.

This picture is siimply too powerful for words.

Now this. You're right Carla, the guy needs to take a hike, now, and quickly and bring the rest of the neocon crew with him (now that we have a song, we must be a protest movement...referring to the Stones song about Neocons). He just needs to get out.

I'm so proud of this OC task force for not obeying orders. The government is failing us, the people need to take it back...NOW!

10. Is the order not to break in
so they will bulldoze the houses and the bodies inside?
This is horrible. There must be many more like this poor man.

Local authorities are putting up with this FEMA order?
