2. It's all about appearances |
|
First, a five-week vacation (even if he did do work while on it) just doesn't look good. It is an in-your-face-I'm-the-boss kind of behavior
Second, he knew this was a big one. He took the unprecedented steps to declare disaster beforehand and he made a speech saying get out now. He should have traveled to the LA EOC or some other headquarters and been there, been AT THE WHEEL, if you will, when this obvious catastrophe hit.
He wouldn't really even had to have "done" anything official.
But appearances count.
Which is really the sorry-est thing about it all. He didn't walk the walk OR talk the talk.

4. Bush Irresponsibility a given ergo inconsequential |
|
Bush isn't running anything. He is a puppet for Cheney, Halliburton etc. I think they intended to be left-footed in their response to insure that the flooding and destruction of the city was complete to make for easy removal of homeowners, and control over the port etc. Bush is inconsequential. Striding round his ranch or striding round D.C. or N.O. doesn't make matters better or worst.

to who he is getting advice from. We know he has a small head & is elitist. If he is hanging with sociopaths..he is going to be acting on their whims and desire to remake the world in their image. And it ain't pretty. Trust me. None of the adults in the world will go for it. Bush has lost the adults already.
All he does is project. Corporations are robbing the country blind in their frenzy to get rid of regulation which will result in million dollar bonuses & contracts. And they try and lay blame for human failing on a bunch of small city politicians, old people and babies & government..when it is only them and sociopathic/delusional/paranoid MBAs with the issues.
Disgusting! Sick, Dangerous, delusional, adolescent, morally bankrupt, lying bunch of assholes.

9. Not choking on his silver spoon |
|
What a rich asshole, born into a life of privilege, given everything on a silver platter, while I'm barely eeking out a living in HIS fucked up economy. My job sucks, pays little, has no health insurance, and he's doing everything he can to make it worse. If that's not bad enough, he sits on his hands, not caring about the African-Americans in LA and MS, allowing them to be killed. And you know he doesn't give a rats ass about African-Americans, except for that Uncle Tom on the Supreme Court and that turncoat be-och who he has as NSA. Does he think we're that stupid? Now he, Cheney, and his Halliburton cronies make billions while we struggle to find the money to fill up our cars to go to our minimum wage shit jobs. I kinda wish they'd cut the gas tax, but that would help those SUV driving rich Republicans more than it'd help me. I drive a Geo Prism, so fuck 'em!

It was allowing himself to be elected president even though it's clear he has neither the desire or intelligence to perform the tasks required.
