Okay, I've been in media/internet blackout for about 5 days. What's up? |
|
I did notice some news coverage on one of the major networks that actually showed Bush with the McCain birthday cake (landfall) and strumming the guitar in San Diego (landfall plus one). And I caught the end of 60 Minutes where Andy Rooney essentially bashed Bush.
Looked like there was a lot of Roberts hearings coverage.
I guess what I'm wondering is, did the shrubco talking points work, trying to pass responsibility off onto Blanco and Nagin? They sure seemed to be working in my heavily shrub area before I left, but those folks will bite on anything Rush throws at them...
I'm guessing it couldn't have worked that well since Brownie had to resign and shrub had to give that speech...

Maybe he was out of change and needed Condi to lend him a quarter for the UN's pay toilets...
Assuming the UN actually has pay toilets...

Judge Roberts will not answer any questions because ANYTHING might be a case that the court takes.
Anderson Cooper is still rampaging down in NOLA.
The GOP Senate rejected a bipartisan committee to investigate what went wrong during Katrina.
Business as usual.

8. Oh, no, I *want* him to blame other people. |

Take as many of those incompetent boobs down with him as he can! He has clearly been made a "patsy" and I think he must realize that. Sing, FEMA Brown, sing!
Speaking of singing, there are rumors that Judy Miller is in fact doing exactly that! I don't have a linky right now, though, but if you search you'll find it.
