Has the news about the three missing lab mice carrying deadly strains |
|
of plague been posted yet? This article by Newhouse News service was buried on page 10A in today's Mobile Register. It happened in a bio-terror research facility in Newark, NJ.

1. Yes, and interestingly enough not in NJ papers until today |
|
The first I heard of it was on CBS radio this morning. Their report was that the feds have been trying to keep a lid on the story.

3. Yes, but there's no reason to worry........ |
|
right? Didn't bush appoint Dr. Schoals as head of the CDC? They say there's absolutely no reason to worry, it's probably just a clerical error. To me, that says, worry. Worry a lot. When they tell you not to worry, that everything is just fine, it's time to take to the mattresses.

7. Yes, the article said the incident occurred over TWO weeks ago |
|
and has been a hushed investigation only confirmed yesterday. Why does it seem that no one is overly concerned about this?

Well, speaking purely as a former New Jersey resident, these mice probably fell into one of the toxic waste dumps in the Meadowlands about an hour and half after they escaped and drowned.
Why does NJ have more toxic waste sites and California more lawyers? NJ got first pick.
