Do you think the time is ripe for a "return" of a type of Populism |

that reaches across Party AND, maybe even, Race lines?
It would be comprised of all of those who are completely tired of being played for fools with bullshit coming at us from a lot of directions, including ALL political parties, people who are tired of being played for fools over dumb stuff like "Race", AND the LETTERS!!! G, O, and D, to garner votes for unknown Others. People who begin to tune all of that out of their lives and live more immediately.
Footnote: It would be helpful if people took a good look at what a "language" actually, concretely, is, comprised of systems of HYPOTHESES. Don't mistake words for what we refer to as Reality.

1. Time for a new "Bull Moose" party |
|
This is what Theodore Roosevelt came up with. He was so very disgusted with the Republican party and the Democratic party that this party emerged. He was sadly defeated, but he tried at least.
We need a new political party in this country. EVERYONE is fed up except for the rich getting those tax breaks!

2. Not sure exactly what that means |
|
But on political polls, it shows me as a left leaning populist. Not exactly sure if that is a bad thing or a good thing?

I don't think the country's at that point yet. The political machine keeps the populace actively divided by party, religion and class. There has yet to be ONE thing everyone's equally pissed at. Most people mistakenly think there is no common ground because of the extremists from both sides who get the most attention.

Those are all common grounds.
A government for the people. What a concept.

but from my personal experience the right is acknowledging its suffering but not that their president as the cause. We HAVE common ground - it's there - but I can't see people from the right and the left meeting there just yet.
