WE HAVE THE MOST LIBERAL PRESIDENT IN HISTORY!!!! |
|
I'm amazed. Truly amazed. If Bush makes good on his promises, this will be the most liberal agenda undertaken since the Great Depression.
Of course, I'm skeptical about whether or not he'll follow through, but if he does, he'll go down as the most liberal president in history.

|
Basically, because it's true. If the promises come through, it's an extremely liberal agenda.
George Bush has converted to Liberalism, pass it on.

It is no such thing. Enterprise zones? We have seen what enterprise and opportunity zones can do. We saw its beneficiaries at the New Orleans Convention Center, and in the pages of the Wall Street Journal discussing how to build a city without so many of "those people.
Urban hometeading? Did he mean building reservations? Where, in Utah? There is no federal land of consequence in New Orleans.
Five thousands dollars in retraining assitance? He might as well have offered them 40 acres and a mule.
The people of the south have long memories. The Fourth of July was not observed in some places in Misssissippi for a generation after the civil war.
The poorest and darkest people of the south did not get their 40 acres or mule last time. They will not this time.

end up in the hands of his cronies and his base.
It will merely pass through the hands of most of the residents of NO to launder it.

17. Yep. How many times did he mention |
|
the private sector, refer to things in a business mentality, and RELIGION.
Every 15 seconds he mentioned religious organizations, saying they were either doing good, getting money, or that they should be getting money from us. It really sounded like he meant we should be giving money to churches...

They're either: amazingly pissed that GDub's become a bleeding heart commie pinko, or they're rah-rah-ing an agenda as far left as this country has ever seen.

He's asking for charitable organizations to give... |
|
This is no great program. It was all "church, scouts, and charities" blah blah blah.
I don't buy a thing he says about funding help for NO and MS. Not a thing. He expects all of us to step forward and donate, because the rich need their damn tax breaks.

My take on his speech...Christian soldiers bla bla bla
Help poor Black folk bla bla bla MORE FEDERAL GOV CONTROL--rebuild with oil interests in mind and get rid of these ghettos.
Bush just spouted his usual bullshit...reading between the lines, he's talking turn NOLA into an oil base and filter/launder all the cash to his faith based assholes and then straight into his pocket.
This fucker IS the devil and you're hearing it from a non-Christian.
On the plus side I am happy to hear that the head's of the right wingers are about to explode over his so called LBJ statements.
