Shelby dripped all over it. Gergen did not buy it either, it seems - well, on edit, he is starting to dribble a bit about it. Another example on how low, low, low the bar for * is....

wipe the blood off his hands. Why do they think it can? Why aren't they talking about the dead US citizens, each one as important as any politician? Or about all those dead Iraqis and US soldiers?
Why are we playing these games when real human beings have lost their children (2000 still unaccounted for) and so many were left to rot in the hot sun because this moron was busy partying?
I think we have to reconsider leaving so much power in the hands of one man. Why did Congress not go into emergency session on Monday after it was evident that the entire administration was away on vacation, or shopping or whatever, while a major disaster was unfolding before the world, and only they were unaware of it?
Unbelievable. If I owned a media outlet, I would not have aired that speech or anything else he has to say. I want to know what happened to the mother of the baby who was crushed in the Superdome, or the poor people I saw fainting for want of a drink of water. They are more important to me, than this spoiled, cruel, uncaring, greedy, vindictive, arrogant excuse for a human being.
There were heroes in this disaster. Let's talk about them. Watching these vultures just depresses me, and watching the press worry about his image, makes me ill.
