Who will be Kristin Breitweiser for Katrina survivors in NOLA?
Who's going to hold Dubya to the grandiose promises he made in his Jackson Square speech, two weeks and two days after the canal floodwalls failed?

Remember how Kristin Breitweiser and the rest of the "Jersey Girls" spoke for the families of victims of 9/11 at the WTC? Without them, would there have been a 9/11 Commission, or would there have been just another cover-up as with Abu Ghraib?

Are there articulate survivors of the NOLA flood who will speak for the hundreds of thousands who've been displaced, rather than for the corporate vultures waiting to pounce on the funding Dubya has promised? Who are they? Which MSM reporters are putting them on the air?

1. I vote for that 9 year old boy that NBC on, the one with the
grandmother that needed the insulin. I think he would mop the floor with the neo-cons.

4. From what I've seen, I'd have to say Sen Mary Landrieu, Rep Wm Jefferson, or

St Bernard Parish's official Aaron Broussard.

But all of them are government officials, who can be bought. Apparently, Sen Landrieu already had almost made her bargain to join Frist's majority on several pending issues when the storm hit, but I suspect renegotiation is in the works.

Jefferson already has been tarred by media allegations that he wasted National Guard resources inspecting ahd recovering some papers from his house in New Orleans, even though he did not ask for National Guard help.

Broussardi is a wild card, though. On MTP, he made the most emotional statement I've ever heard a government representative make on TV, about the drowning of a colleague's mother despite repeated promises that "somebody's coming to get you", Later, on another MSM broadcast, he refused to join the chorus pointing fingers at Mayor Naygin to take the heat off the White House. But will he continue to talk the way he's talking now? Maybe he has political ambitions.

6. You're right; I was confused--it was Aaron Broussard on MTP.
