8. The lame duck is fucked
Bush has just undermined the entire party and Nancy has already pointed out that it is mere political opportunism. Between this spending spree and the failed escapade in Iraq, the neocons will be on the run.

Katrina has blown away the illusions and the Dems must take back their ideology and move forward. Not one neocon can talk about limited government.
