1. NOLA will get a shit sandwich
Bush has NO intention of delivering on any of those promises.

This is all about shoveling $200 billion into BushCo's pockets.

The final Katrina looting spree.

4. Don't you mean "finding spree"?
Bush**co and its subsidiaries such as Helliburton are pretty much composed of "finders", not "looters", if you receive my drift.

2. Actually...
Is it liberal to send hundreds of billions of dollars to Halliburton and Bechtel?

Is it liberal to cut the wages of the workers at those private contractors so they can take in even more profit?

Bush is not expanding government programs. He's just increasing spending and sending taxpayer money to private contractors, who donate heavily to the GOP -- oh, and a few faith-based organizations, too. At the same time, he's suspending the labor laws -- so when those multinational contractors take in all of that taxpayer money, they don't have to give much of it at all to the local workers who have lost everything.

Some "liberal" program.

Give me a break.

3. Excuse my ignorance here, but isn't
this something that will have to be voted on and approved? Then when the Dems do the responsible thing & don't approve it as-is, they'll be chastised for it? Is this their plan?....
